minggu ni minggu terakhir kt bedah.

sgt sedih nk tnggalkan bedah. but, i'd promise

to myself, i'll jaga if i'm free.

i love being with patient.

i'd seen a lot

of death since i'm in surgery department.

most of it coz of

head trauma.

severe head injury.

here's a lil bit info 4 u guys.

we can classify head injury into 3 :

mild, moderate n severe according to the

gcs (glasgow coma scale)

mild (14-15)

moderate (9-13)

severe (less or equal to 8)

head injury is the common cause of

death in surgery emergency department.

not because of not wearing helmet.

but, it also bcoz of the way

people ride or drive.

they often rush to go somewhere.

sgt berbau.

sbb bau darah.

dari mulut, dr tlinga,

kepala.

but, as a future doc,

kene tahan la. if xtahan,

pakai mask la..

tp, 1 masalah kt hasan sadikin ni

adalah, facilities.

byk patient mati sbb nk tnggu operation room.

nk tnggu doc yg byk patient lain.

alat ventilator yg

ade 1 or dua.

so, koas tpaksa ambu (tekan2 belon keras utk

assist respiration)

penat sgt if kene ambu.

sometimes, we pray supaya patient cpat2

mati. :(

jgn ikut pbuatan ni.sgt dosa.

n i promised i never fo it

again.

i have a lot of experience in surgery

department.

1 patient, he's having moderate head

injury.

i got infos that he's drunk n ride motorcycle.

he's only 16.

i treat him with my heart coz

i'm so sad bcoz he's too young to die.

i need his urine for urinalysis to make sure that

he's not having urogenital injury.

but, he can't urinate. so,

i need to set catheter.

when i take off his pants

i'm quite shock coz he's having

a small penis.

i'm not sure it is normal or

not. but, i ask my fren.

when we try to find the meatus,

we found out that he is

hypospadia patient (having a proximal

meatus)

that's why he's having small penis.

bcoz he have chordae which is a fibrous tissue

connect his glan penis and his shaft.

it's quite difficult to enter the catheter,

but, we succeed. :)

n we got all his urine out n

we take the sample from the urine for

urinalysis.

he maybe having bladder injury coz he have microscopic

hematuria.

but, i don't know the real diagnosis

coz i finish my shift that day.

today i promise to visit him at 4th floor i guess.

coz he is orthopaedic patient.

i hope he's alright.

and get well fast.

i help him with my heart.

he's father don't have money.

but, he tried to reach his wife to

try to find money to

treat his son.

i gave my phone for him to call his

wife.

after all i did to his son,

he whispered to my ear

"doc, smoga tuhan membalas

jasa baik doc. doc orang yang baik"

alhamdulillah. i almost cried when i

heard his whispered.

i said

"insyaallah pak.. saya doakan

anak bapak cepat sembuh dan

kluarga bapak dirahmati allah."

n b4 that happen,

when his son woke up,

he's asking to meet his father.

then he said

"bapak..aku minta

maaf. aku udah mengecewakan

bapak sama ibu"

suddenly, my tears come down.

:(

i hope he's really mean it n

change.

i pray for their happiness.

being a young doctor really

give me lessons.

i need to appreciate life.

i need to respects people.

i hope all future doctors out there will

treat their patient

with our heart

to make sure patient

will get our services fully and also

our love that may make

them happy.

if not today. maybe tomorrow.
